- When washing delicate and embroidered items, turn them upside down before putting them in the machine. Remove from the machine as soon as the wash cycle has finished. Iron embroidered items inside out. Always follow the instructions on the labels. Always prefer cold or low temperature washes. For whites, use temperatures below 140ºF. Colors should never be washed at temperatures above 104ºF.
